Specializing in cutting-edge structural solutions, we provide comprehensive services including audits, condition assessments, advanced non-destructive testing, and innovative monitoring techniques for buildings and bridges.
Our mission is to ensure the safety, stability, and longevity of every structure we assess, inspect, or rehabilitate. Backed by a team of seasoned engineers and the latest technology, we deliver precision-driven insights and sustainable strategies to meet the evolving needs of modern infrastructure.
With MV Structural Consultants, you’re building on a foundation of trust, innovation and expertise.
MV Consultants performs with the best and latest technogy available in the market and always gives one-stops solutions to its customers. Investigation and precise Auditing of any structure Non-destructive est ing and Structural health monitoring. Consultation and Approval. Execution with all Conventional and Advanced methods. Execution warranty.
Our team is well-trained and experienced in handling both semi-destructive and non-destructive instruments. Testing is conducted in advance as a pre-strengthening assessment and later as a post-strengthening verification.
We have consistently proven ourselves worthy of our clients’ expectations. Our equipment includes deflection sensors, strain sensors, data acquisition systems, CAPO, and other essential instruments, all in accordance with the latest code provisions.
The MV Consultants team will conduct all necessary tests to assess on-site material properties, identify execution imperfections, evaluate the capacity of structural members or the structure as a whole, and perform a comprehensive life assessment of the structure.
All findings will be professionally compiled and reported to ensure clarity, compliance, and actionable insights.
At MV Consultants (MVC), we approach each project with a unique, customized perspective. After a thorough diagnosis, the identified issues are collaboratively discussed by our auditing, design, and execution teams, along with associates from renowned institutions.
We ensure that every solution is the most compatible and effective, tailored to the specific requirements of the project. All designs are prepared in accordance with the latest ACI codes and are vetted and approved by experts from prestigious organizations such as IITs, NITs, and various research institutions.
MVC specializes in providing a wide range of execution services, starting from basic repair techniques like:
To advanced structural enhancement methods including:
Our execution is driven by technical expertise and a commitment to restoring and upgrading structural integrity with precision and reliability.
We assess the likely compressive strength of concrete using established correlations between the rebound index and compressive strength, as well as surface hardness measurements. This non-destructive approach provides reliable insights into the in-situ condition of the concrete.
Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test
These tests are primarily conducted to determine the homogeneity of concrete, detect the presence of cracks, voids, and other imperfections, and monitor changes in the quality of concrete over time.
An ultrasonic pulse is generated by an electro-acoustical transducer. When this pulse is introduced into the concrete, it undergoes multiple reflections at the boundaries of different material phases within the concrete. The velocity and behavior of the pulse help in evaluating the internal condition and integrity of the structure.
This test method covers the estimation of the electrical half-cell potential of uncoated reinforcing steel in both field and laboratory concrete. It is primarily used to determine the corrosion activity of the embedded reinforcing steel, helping assess the risk and extent of corrosion within the structure.
Carbonation in concrete is a chemical process in which carbon dioxide (CO₂) present in moist air reacts with lime and other alkaline materials in the concrete. This reaction results in the formation of calcium carbonate (CaCO₃). Over time, carbonation can reduce the alkalinity of concrete, potentially leading to corrosion of reinforcing steel.
